Herein, a new series of non‐ionic dendritic and carbohydrate based amphiphiles is synthesized employing biocompatible starting materials and studied for supramolecular aggregate formation in aqueous solution. The dendritic amphiphiles 12 and 13 possessing poly(glycerol) [G2.0] as hydrophilic unit and C‐10 and C‐18 hydrophobic alkyl chains, respectively, exhibit low critical aggregation concentration (CAC) in the order of 10−5m and hydrodynamic diameters in the 8–10 nm range and supplemented by cryogenic transmission electron microscopy. Ultraviolet‐visible (UV‐Vis) and fluorescence spectroscopy suggests the effective solubilization of hydrophobic guests by the self‐assembled architectures, with the nanotransporters 12 and 13 possessing the highest encapsulation efficiency of 80.74 and 98.03% for curcumin. Efficient uptake of encapsulated curcumin in adenocarcinomic human alveolar basal epithelial (A549) cells is observed by confocal laser scanning microscopy. Amphiphiles 12 and 13 are non‐cytotoxic at the concentrations studied, however, curcumin encapsulated samples efficiently reduce the viability of A549 cells in vitro. Experimental studies indicate the ability of amphiphile 13 to encapsulate 1‐anilinonaphthalene‐8‐sulfonic acid (ANS) and curcumin with binding constant of 1.16 × 1055m −1 and 1.43 × 106m −1, respectively. Overall, our findings demonstrate the potential of these dendritic amphiphiles for the development of prospective nanocarriers for the solubilization of hydrophobic drugs. 相似文献

Novel polymer complexes of 8‐hydroxyquinoline‐5‐sulfonic acid hydrate ( H 2 L ) with Cu2+, Co2+ and Ni2+ chloride were prepared and characterized. Microanalysis, magnetic susceptibility, IR spectra, electron spin resonance, mass spectra, X‐ray, molar conductance, thermal, and UV–Vis spectra studies have been used to confirm the structure of the prepared polymer complexes. The molecular and electronic structures of the hydrogen bond conformers for ligand ( H 2 L ) were optimized theoretically and the quantum chemical parameters were calculated. On the basis of elemental and IR data, the chemical structure of metal chelates commensurate that the tri‐dentate (H2L) coordinate to metal chlorides through oxygen atom of phenolic OH and oxygen atom of SO3‐H group by replacing H atoms and nitrogen of the quinoline ring. The magnetic studies suggested the octahedral geometrical structure for all produced polymer complexes with general formula {[ML (OH2)3] .xH2O}n (M = Cu2+, x = 1.; Co2+, x = 2 and Ni2+, x = 2) in molar ratio (1:1). Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger methods have been used for calculating the activation thermodynamic parameters of the thermal decomposition for H 2 L and its polymer complexes. The interaction between H 2 L and its transition metal complexes with the calf thymus DNA (CT‐DNA) was determined by UV–Vis spectra. Binding efficiency between H 2 L with the receptors of the prostate cancer (PDB code 2Q7L Hormone) and the breast cancer (PDB code 1JNX Gene regulation) was studied by molecular docking. The inhibition behaviour of H 2 L against the corrosion of carbon steel / HCl (2 M) solution was studied by weight loss, Tafel polarisation, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM) techniques. The adsorption isotherm was found to be Friendlish isotherm. Novel cobalt complex of 4‐amino‐N‐(6‐chloropyridazin‐3‐yl)benzene sulfonamide (sulfachloropyridazine) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility (VSM). Cobalt complex of Sulfachloropyridazine (Co‐SCP) crystallized in monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 4. The structure is solved by direct method and refined to R = 0.099 for 4720 reflections with I ?4σ(I). The results of FT‐IR spectra suggest the binding of cobalt atom to the sulfonamide ligand which is in agreement with the crystal structure determination. In crystal structure, molecule is linked via, C‐H … π, C‐Cl … π and π … π intermolecular interactions. The computational studies like the optimization energy and root means square deviation compare with single crystal structure, frontier molecular orbital (Homo‐Lumo energy) and binding energy of the Co‐SCP has been carried out using DFT/B3LYP level of theory in gaseous phase. Hirshfeld surfaces and the 2D‐fingerprint analysis are performed to study the nature of interactions and their measurable contributions towards crystal packing. The interaction of the complex with DNA is investigated using viscosity measurement and absorption titration studies. The result shows the complex bind to DNA with intercalative mode with high DNA‐binding constant (Kb). Also, in vivo and in vitro cytotoxic studies are performed using S. pombe cells and brine shrimp lethality bioassay. DNA‐cleavage study shows better cleaving ability of the complex. 相似文献

Three heteroleptic copper(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L1–3)(cf)(ClO4)] ( 1 – 3 ), where cf = ciprofloxacin, have been synthesized using pyridazine‐based ligands 3‐chloro‐6‐(salicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL1), 3‐chloro‐6‐(4‐diethylaminosalicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL2) and 3‐chloro‐6‐(5‐bromosalicylidenehydrazinyl)pyridazine (HL3). Electronic spectral data and magnetic moment values suggest octahedral geometry for the synthesized copper(II) complexes. Electrochemical data of the copper(II) complexes present an irreversible one‐electron reduction wave in the cathodic potential region (Epc) between ?0.631 and ?0.670 V. Frontier molecular orbital calculations were carried out, and the obtained low‐energy gap supports the bio‐efficacy of the complexes. All the complexes were screened for their in vitro cytotoxicity activity against three human cancerous (breast adenocarcinoma (MCF‐7), hepatoma (HepG‐2) and cervical (HeLa)) and one non‐cancerous (non‐tumorigenic human dermal fibroblast (NHDF)) cell lines using MTT assay, in which complex 2 exhibited higher activity. The apoptosis induction by the complexes was analysed using the Hoechst dye staining method with MCF‐7 cell line, which indicates higher apoptotic activity of complex 2 . A molecular docking study was carried out to ascertain the binding affinity of the synthesized heteroleptic copper(II) complexes with phosphoinositide 3‐kinase gamma (PI3Kγ) receptor. 相似文献

New carbohydrazone ligand derived from the condensation of carbohydrazide and ethyl acetoacetate, diethyl 3,3′‐(carbonylbis (hydrazin‐2‐yl‐1‐ylidene))(3E,3′E)‐dibutyrate (H4EBC), and its divalent Co, Ni and Cu chelates have been isolated and characterized utilizing convenient methods. 1H‐NMR spectrum of H4EBC revealed the abundance of the enol isomer in solution, which was the opposite to what was shown by the solid IR. This was supported by comparing the theoretical IR of both keto and enol forms. In [Ni(H4EBC)Cl2(H2O)]·2H2O, H4EBC acts as a neutral NON tridentate ligand via the (C=O)carbonyl oxygen atom besides the two (C=N)azomethine nitrogen atoms, while in [Co(H4EBC)Cl2(2H2O)]·2H2O, H4EBC behaves as a neutral NN bidentate ligand through the two azomethine groups. Magnetic measurements inherent to their electronic spectra show that both Ni (II) and Co (II) chelates have octahedron coordination frameworks. On the other hand, the ligand behaves as a binegative tetradentate in [Cu2(H4EBC)Cl2]·H2O via the deprotonated (C=O)carbonyl groups of the ethyl acetoacetate framework and the two (C=N)azomethine groups. In the latter complex, the carbonyl group of the carbohydrazide moiety is converted to hydroxyl group. Cu (II) complex has a tetrahedral geometry according to ESR and electronic spectral data. The reaction of H4EBC with SmCl3·6H2O or LnCl3·7H2O gave single crystals of abnormal product (C16H16N4O4). The packing diagram of this crystal has a chain structure. The photoluminescence spectra of [Cu 2 (H 4 EBC)Cl 2 ]·H 2 O , [Co(H 4 EBC)Cl 2 (H 2 O) 2 ]·2H 2 O and [Ni(H 4 EBC)Cl 2 (H 2 O)]·2H 2 O display emission broad‐bands at 342, 321 and 337 nm, respectively. The microbial behavior of the synthesized moieties was investigated against various bacterial and fungal strains. [Cu2(H4EBC)Cl2]·H2O complex shows the same activity as ampicillin towards Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus with inhibition zones of 26 and 22 mm, respectively. Antioxidant activity is determined using bleomycin‐dependent DNA damage assay besides erythrocyte hemolysis. A string of four new hetero binuclear Ru(III) complexes of ferrocenecarboxaldehyde-4(N)-substituted thiosemicarbazones were synthesized and characterized by various spectral (infrared, ultraviolet–visible, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HR-MS) techniques. The binding abilities of the ligands/complexes with nucleic acid (calf thymus DNA, CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were analyzed by absorption and emission titration methods. The complexes exhibited better DNA binding affinity than their parent ligands. The interaction with CT-DNA was found to be intercalative and with BSA static quenching mechanism was observed. All the synthesized Ru(III) complexes were subjected to study their in vitro cytotoxicity against MCF-7 (human breast cancer) and HT-29 (human colon cancer) cell lines. Among the four complexes, complex 3 [RuCp (FF-etsc)PPh3]Cl exhibited the highest cytotoxicity in MCF-7 cells and complex 4 [RuCp (FF-ptsc)PPh3]Cl was the most active on HT-29 cells. 相似文献

A series of nanometer-sized spherical sulfonamide imine ligands HL 1 -HL 5 and their copper and zinc complexes were synthesized and fully characterized based on elemental analyses, spectroscopic (UV/vis, FT-IR, NMR, EPR, SEM) studies, molar conductance and thermal analyses. Furthermore, computational studies of HL 1 -HL 5 were carried out by the DFT/B3LYP method. TD-DFT, HOMO and LUMO energy values, chemical hardness, electronegativity, electrophilic index, softness, and other parameters were calculated. Screening against several pathogenic microorganisms indicated that HL 1 exhibited high activity against the tested Gram-negative bacteria relative to other analogues and the inhibition activity is greater than the standard Gentamicin. Analogously, HL 2 exhibited high potent activity against the tested Gram-positive bacteria. Copper complexes exhibited a higher potent activity than zinc analogues. Noteworthy, inhibition activity of [Cu ( L 3 )(OAc)] complex is higher than that of the standard Ampicillin. [Cu ( L 2 )(OAc)] complex displayed a similar activity of the standard bactericides and fungicides in use. The complexes showed appreciated values of MIC against bacterial strains: B. subtilis (MIC = 0.4 μg / mL), E. coli and S. pneumonia (MIC = 1.95 μg / mL) and P. aeruginosa (MIC = 7.81 μg / mL). in vitro cytotoxic activities study proved that [Cu ( L 3 )(OAc)] complex exhibited appreciable activity versus (HEPG-2); IC50 = 4.8 μg/ml, while [Cu( L 2 )(OAc)] complex showed a high activity against (MCF-7); IC50 = 6.2 μg/ml. For the first time, the influence of different types of atoms (Zn and O) on the antibacterial activities of nanosized ZnO was quantitatively evaluated with the aid of a 3D‐printing‐manufactured evaluation system. Two different outermost atomic layers were manufactured separately by using an ALD (atomic layer deposition) method. Interestingly, we found that each outermost atomic layer exhibited certain differences against gram‐positive or gram‐negative bacterial species. Zinc atoms as outermost layer (ZnO?Zn) showed a more pronounced antibacterial effect towards gram‐negative E. coli (Escherichia coli), whereas oxygen atoms (ZnO?O) showed a stronger antibacterial activity against gram‐positive S. aureus (Staphylococcus aureus). A possible antibacterial mechanism has been comprehensively discussed from different perspectives, including Zn2+ concentrations, oxygen vacancies, photocatalytic activities and the DNA structural characteristics of different bacterial species. 相似文献

A green and environment-friendly magnetically separable nanocomposite, glutathione@magnetite was fabricated sonochemically through the functionalization of Fe3O4 by glutathione which was well characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, ultravoilet-visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometer, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, and high-resolution transmission electron microscope. The parameters affecting adsorption including pH, temperature, contact time, initial adsorbate concentration, and adsorbent amount were optimized by batch experiments. The magnetic glutathione@magnetite was applied for the removal of uranium(VI) in water with maximum adsorption capacity found to be 333.33 mg/g in 120 min at a neutral pH at 25 °C showing high efficiency for U(VI) ions. Furthermore, adsorption results obtained from UV-vis spectroscopy were validated by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy. The thermodynamic parameters, viz Gibbs free energy (ΔGº), standard enthalpy change (ΔHº), and standard entropy change (ΔSº) of the process were calculated using the Langmuir constants. The pseudo-second-order kinetics model is seen to be applicable for describing the uptake process using a kinetics test. Moreover, desorption studies reveals that glutathione@magnetite can be used repeatedly, and removal efficiency shows only a small decrease after six cycles. Thus, glutathione@magnetite acts as a potential adsorbent for the removal of U(VI) from the water with great adsorption performance. 相似文献

We introduce a procedure for separating periodic oscillations superposed on a stochastic signal. The procedure combines empirical mode decomposition (EMD) of a signal with tools of data analysis based on stochastic differential equations, namely nonlinear Langevin equations. Taking the set of modes retrieved from the EMD of the signal, our procedure is able to separate them into two groups, one composing the periodic signal and another composing the stochastic signal. The framework is robust for a broad family of localized oscillations, in the range of large frequencies. In particular, we show that, in this context, the EMD method outperforms a low-pass filter and is robust for a wide interval of different frequency ranges and amplitudes of the periodic oscillation, as well as for a broad family of different non-linear Langevin processes. 相似文献
